Important Issues about the precaution of Novel Coronavirus: important issues about students staying home/ returning to Hong Kong during the suspension period and arrangements of S6 Mock Exam and Paper-checking days

1.  Important issues about students staying home/ returning to Hong Kong during the suspension period

In view of an increase in the number of confirmed and suspected Novel Coronavirus infection cases, the Education Bureau announced that all schools (including kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and special schools) will extend their Chinese New Year holidays to February 16 (i.e. class resumption on February 17). Our school would like to appeal to students who have gone to Mainland China to return to Hong Kong as early as possible, while ensuring a 14-day observation period prior to class resumption (i.e. arrive Hong Kong on or before February 3) can be carried out. The above mentioned students should pay extra attention to the environment and personal hygiene, avoid going to crowded places to reduce the risk of infection. It is reminded to wear a mask and wash hands frequently if going out; and consult a doctor at once if feeling unwell and stay home for rest.

Home room teachers will call parents on February 3, to ask for children’s condition and inform parents about the arrangements of students’ self-learning at home.
